Mary Grace McDermott

Mary was one of three children born to George and Dolores. She grew up in Schenectady, and graduated from Linton High in 1978. Years later, she met Mike McDermott, to whom she married on November 23, 1980. Together they had three wonderful children – Jeffrey, Erin, and Laura, and were married for 42 years before Mary’s passing.

In 1993, the family decided to move to Longmont from Tucson, AZ. They joined The Journey, a church that Mary connected with. For many years, Mary worked as a Medical Assistant, helping many moms and families. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and hiking, but her favorite thing was being able to watch her grandkids.

Mary is preceded in death by her father George Hebert Jr.. She is survived by her husband Mike McDermott; her son Jeffrey McDermott; her daughters Erin and Laura McDermott; her mother Dolores her brothers George Hebert III. and Mark Hebert; as well as her grandchildren Nadia McDermott, Alicia McDermott, Ashlynne McClesky, Rowan McClesky, Theo McClesky, and Alessandra Minaya.
