Mary Jane Barhite

Mary Jane was married to Victor Barhite on September 4, 1954, having first met at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. They were married for 63 years. In 1961 they moved from a farm in Iowa to Boulder and then moved to Lyons where they lived many years. She was primarily a bookkeeper for various businesses that they owned.

She had a passion for traveling in their many motorhomes and being with family whether in Colorado, Iowa or Oklahoma. She loved reading, especially outside in the early morning. She was always active in church activities.

Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband Victor Barhite, and her son Randy Barhite. She is survived by her daughter Nichole Jordan; her son-in-law, daughter-in-law; her three grand children and six-great grandchildren, as well as many other extended and loved family members.

Mary Jane is best remembered for her light-hearted spirit, her happy soul, and her love of always helping others.
