Beeson, Marjorie May (Hinkley) May 25, 1923 (Evart, MI) “ March 11, 2018 (Longmont, CO). Preceded in death by parents John and Mary (Kirkland) Hinkley, beloved husband Joseph Beeson, Don (Sally) Hinkley, Paul (Carlene) Hinkley, Nina (Charlie) Dayton and Ralph (Vivian) Hinkley, Iva, Ina, and Ruth Hinkley. Survived by son Thomas (Lena) and daughter Julie Blaser (John) and grandchildren Joseph, John and Elizabeth Beeson and Emma Blaser, and many nieces and nephews. Niece Nancy Dayton resides in Longmont.Marge was born and raised in Evart, MI attending a country school and staring in softball and basketball in high school graduating in 1941. She received her RN degree from Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI in 1944. She was president of her class. She had nursing employment ranging from Night Supervisor at Sparrow to Nurse Anesthetist at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. She had been accepted to Nurse Anesthetist Training at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, but instead chose to marry Joseph Eugene Beeson of Royal Oak, MI on May 25, 1957. They resided in Royal Oak until 1972 when Kodak transferred Joseph to Omaha, NE where they lived until moving to Longmont, CO in 1997. Son Thomas resides in Omaha, NE and Julie Blaser, husband John and daughter Emma reside in Longmont. Marge was also an artist, loved golf (broke 50 for 9 holes once) and bowling (high game 251) and always said her greatest passion in life was being a mother. She was a breast cancer survivor (1983). Memorial service will be 1 PM Saturday March 24, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
