Louise M. Novak beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 in Longmont, Colorado. She was born March 22, 1939 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Edwin F. and Elizabeth (Betty Provost) Morsbach.
Louise grew up in Roselle Park, New Jersey. As a teen she enjoyed going to the shore and sailing. After graduating from Roselle High School in 1958 she married the love of her life, Howard. As they started their lives and family together, they moved a couple times till they found there forever home in Longmont, Colorado. Louise, a wonderful homemaker enjoyed taking care of her family and raising her five children, and enjoyed spending time with her two granddaughters.
Louise was always a compassionate and kind person. She was always willing to help others in any capacity she was able. She loved spending time with her family and her crafts; sewing, knitting, embroidery, and things she called “handy work”. She also took pleasure in vacations seeing and learning about new places and visiting family. She was very passionate about family dinners and holidays putting her all into them. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she was always able to make it special.
Louise is survived by her devoted husband, Howard R. Novak; loving children, Warren Novak, Barry Novak, Pamela Novak, Wendy (Rich) Miller, Betty Jo Moon; wonderful grandchildren, Cassandra (Matt) Smith, Sydney Miller and beloved, great grandson Darrow Smith.
Visitation will take place Wednesday September 29, 2021 12pm to 1pm, with service following at Westview Presbyterian Church, 1500 Hover St. in Longmont. Burial will take place at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
