Lisa was born in Longmont, Colorado to Jack and Cathy Weaver in 1968. She attended Burlington Elementary, Longmont Junior High, and Niwot High School, graduating in 1986. She later graduated from Front Range Community College, and continued at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she graduated with a B.A. in Arts/Art History in 1991.
She loved to travel, and worked as a Flight Attendant for MarkAir in the 1990s. Over the last several years, she worked in graphic design, and created artwork that appeared at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. She was producing artwork for the company Art-O-Mat at the time of her death.
She was an outgoing and fun person that got along with everybody she met. She loved all animals, especially dogs, and they loved her back. She loved old movies and alternative music. She loved cold beer and hot Mexican food. She was a passionate sports fan, and followed all the local teams (even tolerating the Rockies). She loved gambling in Las Vegas, and trips to the beach in California. She was loyal and kind and would give you whatever she could to make your life better. She will be missed.
Lisa is survived by her parents, Jack and Cathy Weaver, and her brother Patrick Weaver, all of Longmont.
She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins in the Longmont area that all loved her very much.
Lisa never wanted a big fuss made, so no services are planned at this time.
If you’d care to make a donation on her behalf, please do so with the American Cancer Society or the Longmont Humane Society.
Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont, Colorado.
