So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was a special woman. She was hands down the expert in doc control and we all went to her for help, and she always helped. Getting on evening meetings, waiting for last minute emails so she could expedite the change that needed to go to the factory. Linda saved my bacon many a time and saved days of down time in the factory. One of the unsung heroes of Seagate. I have owed her many beers over the years. I wish I could repay all the help she has given me. Love you Linda

I'm that one of her Asian colleague. We've never met in person but I felt like I worked with her everyday for all my 15 years at Seagate. She was the one who always broke the ice at the serious conference call with her laugh and little jokes , "You can't get away from this, don't be silence" funny line but encouraged me so much to contribute and help each other at work.  You'll be always in our memories.

This is the most saddest news I hear this time.
She is the most coolest person that I have not even met her in person. I only know she cares so much about work and care about people she worked with even more. She kept in touch with me even when she left Seagate. 
Dear her son, your mother loves you so much we had a conversation long ago, and she send me your senior year picture. I have never met you and Linda before but my heart feels so much pain.
Please rest in peace and when I look up I always think about you.
Now you can come to visit me in Thailand anytime now.

We have never met but your mom Linda was such a good friend to me.  When she found out I was a single mom-to-be, we had some very nice chats.  She loved you so very much.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Linda was a mentor to so many of us at Seagate and a real force of nature. What Linda said - that was it.  That's what we'd do.  

She shared with me one time too about working nights with Asia - as she did and I do - and how that is with a little kid.  She shared with me a fun memory of Marie Callender's chicken pot pies when you were young.

I am so saddened to hear the passing of Linda. We worked together at Seagate for over 20 years and she was smart, funny and dam good at her job. She bailed me out many times late Friday evenings by always getting me the documentation that I requested. We had some good laughs and she was a bright light in a sometimes stressful environment.

Linda, this is quite a shock. 
The first day I met you, you used 2 different 1 liners in a meeting.
The first one..
"That's worse than a fart in a spacesuit."
The second one..
"That's like a turd in the punch bowl."

I was so sad and upset to hear of Linda's passing.  She was part of my life at Seagate, teaching me so many things as well as always sharing a smile and a joke.
I enjoyed working with her for nearly 20 years and getting to know her as a friend just not a colleague.
I was happy that she and I kept in touch after we left Seagate, she will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing last week.  She always had a smile and a kind word when we'd meet in the halls at Seagate.  She was somebody I knew I could trust to be true to herself and all of us that she worked with.   Rest easy, Linda.

I am devastated by the news of Linda's passing. She hired me as an analyst at Exabyte straight out of college. My interview in 1996 with her was at a local bar near the Exabyte work place and we had drinks all afternoon. We hit it off right away! She decided I was the one for the job. She taught me configuration management and later brought me on board at Seagate in1999. Linda was one on the sharpest minds I've been around in my career.  She knew her profession inside and out. She was a driver and and an innovator for Seagate.  She also had a big heart and she defended her employees when the need was called for. I cannot believe she is gone. The world is a much smaller place today. I am sad.

Oh, Linda! I will never forget your smile, your jokes & quick wit, the expressions I only learned from you but are now part of my vocabulary (“busier than a 1-legged man…”)😜, your common sense approach to everything, how you could break things down to their elements and throw in a funny analogy to drive the point home, your passion for the things you loved dearly, the stories we shared on our extremely long flights to and from Korea (and all of our travels, for that matter), the way you cheered me up on my bad days (“now his co-worker knows he’s”…redacted!)♥️, the rapport you had with everyone, the way you ducked when I walked up behind you wearing flip flops 😉, the way you ran when I introduced my sugar glider and she started crabbing loudly, but mostly I just won’t ever forget the amazing co-worker and friend you were to me. I will miss you. Rest in peace, dear friend!

Linda, You were the funniest and caring person on the row. I loved our cubicle wall conversations, learning about your grandchildren and will miss your broncos sweater walking down the aisle.
