Detwiler, Leroy Paul, 62, of Longmont, died September 26, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. He was born April 1, 1951 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Lois (Hollobaugh) and Clayton Detwiler. He was the owner and operator of Detwiler Construction of Colorado and Wyoming. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing and was an avid and accomplished pool player.
Leroy is survived by his parents of Longmont, his son Paul Jonathan Detwiler and his wife Holly of Loveland and his daughters Sheila Detwiler of Loveland and Lacy Detwiler and her husband Mike Michall of Johnstown. He is further survived by children from a previous marriage, Raymond, Cheri and Paul Alan Detwiler of Longmont and his siblings Charles, Kenneth, Malcolm, Helen and Sarah and 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His son John Detwiler preceded him in death as did two sisters Darlene and Fay.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. Memorial services will be held at a later date, and announced at that time.
