Jennifer K. Havel

She was born in Genoa, Nebraska, July 14, 1947 to Johnny and Laura Tarnick. She was raised in Fullerton, NE and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1965. She then attended Grand Island Business school in Grand Island, Nebraska where she met her husband Tom. Tom and Jennifer married November 29, 1969. They moved to Longmont, CO in 1972 and had two children, Jeff and Kristin. Her four grandchildren Taylor, Makayla, Maddie and Gavin were the light of her life.

She loved reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

Jennifer worked for St. Vrain Valley School district for 37 years and loved every minute of it.

She is preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Laura, sister Janice Buettner and in-laws Bill and Irene Havel.

Jennifer is survived by Tom, her husband of 52 years, son Jeff, daughter Kristin(Jeremy) and her amazing grandkids, Taylor and Maddie Havel and Makayla and Gavin Miller.

Visitation & Rosary will be held at Howe Mortuary Thursday, February 24th beginning at 4pm, rosary at 6pm. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Church at 10am Friday, February 25th. Reception to follow at the American Legion Post 32 in Longmont.
