Janet Eileen Behel, age 72, of Lafayette, Colorado passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 in Denver, CO. Janet was born December 7, 1950 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Alfred E. and Eileen G. Young. Janet was married to Martin (Mike) Behel. He preceded her in death in 2016.
Janet's favorite hobbies were painting ceramics, crafting and crocheting.
Surviving are her brothers Alfred and Thomas Young, her sister Shirley Deery and her granddaughter Sydney Behel-Lujan.
A celebration of life for Janet will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Rocky Mountain Christian Church - Niwot Campus, 9447 Niwot Road, Longmont, Colorado 80503. In lieu of flowers please remember Janet with a contribution to Rocky Mountain Christian Church.
Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont, Colorado.
