Jacqueline 'Jackie' L. Anderson

Jackie Anderson passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 24, 2017. She was 83 years old.Jackie was born on January 1, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to Harvey B. and Wanda O. (Bennett) Ricketts. She married Arlen T. Tom Anderson in Boulder, CO on April 28, 1956.In 1977 Jackie began working at Pop's Mexi-Deli Rose which inspired her to own her own restaurant. In 1983 she opened the Heritage Café and Catering in Longmont across the street from Ideal Market. She sold the restaurant in 1988 and retired.After retiring Jackie and Tom moved to Christiansburg, VA to establish Life Bible College East, where she put together and developed the entire food service department. From there they moved to Fort Meyers, FL and then to Sun City, AZ to be closer to family. Tom and Jackie returned form AZ in 2007 and bought a home in Johnstown, CO.Jackie and her family attended the Boulder Assembly of God and New Creation Church formerly Bethel Temple; and was a member of the Eastern Star.She enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, and had many hobbies including crafting. She loved RV'ing and traveling with her husband.Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.She is survived by her husband Tom; her children Jamie Johnson and her husband Michael, Christian Anderson and his wife Kathy and Eric Anderson and his wife Tina; her grandchildren Jonae Nelson and husband Tony, Joshua Johnson and wife Katie, Nathaniel Anderson and wife Candice and Caleb Anderson and wife Aishlinn; her great grandchildren Logan and Mason Johnson; and her sister Gina Buchanan and her husband Daniel of Greenwood, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Hope Centered Church located at 420 Charlotte St. Johnstown, CO 80534.
