Jack Americo Lorenzini

He was born to Americo and Katie (Chiara) Lorenzini at their home on April 6, 1937 in Weldona, Colorado. Jack was preceded in death by his wife. Bettie June (Walker) Lorenzini married on June 13, 1959, in Brush, Colorado.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff Lorenzini (Brenda), White Plains, Georgia, and Jack Lorenzini (Annette), Centennial, Colorado; daughters, Julie Casper, Longmont, Colorado, and Jill Young (Mike), San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Briana Esbenshade, Braxton, Jacob and Cody Lorenzini and great grandchildren; Kolten and Brecken Esbenshade.

Jack grew up in Weldona; farming and working the trucking business with his father and siblings. After high school graduation from Weldon Valley Schools in 1955 he pursued his dream of teaching that he so dearly loved. His accolades include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Science from the Colorado State University of Fort Collins 1959, Masters of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Colorado State College in Greeley in 1967 and his Education Specialists Degree in General School Administration from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley in 1975.

Jack was a remarkable man with such love and devotion to schools and education; it was always for the kids. His heart and soul was kind. He taught (science, chemistry, algebra and physics) to coaching sports (football, basketball and track). He was not only Superintendent of Schools, Principal but ALWAYS A TEACHER and what he loved the most!

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us as we celebrate the life of Jack Americo Lorenzini.
