Herman Hank Miller, 93, of Longmont, CO died November 17, 2013 at The Bridge Assisted Living. Hank was born July 19, 1920 in Denver and raised by his loving parents Rudolph and Amelia Miller.Hank served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the attack on December 7, 1941. He saw action during WWII in the Solomon Islands and again in the Korean War. While in the service, he met Mary Margaret Niles, an Army nurse, and they married on April 7, 1948 in Edgewater, CO.Following his retirement from the Marine Corps, he returned to Colorado, owning and operating Hank Miller Automotive in Wheat Ridge. He and Mary moved to a farm in Weld County near Longmont in 1973 where they raised cattle and grew alfalfa. Hank enjoyed golf and tennis. Hank was preceded in death by his wife Mary and his parents.Hank is survived by his son Larry (Lynn) Miller, daughter Marilyn Dickson both of Longmont and grandson Zack Dickson.No services will be held.
