Helen M. Williams

Our earthly angel, Helen Marie Williams, 88, of Longmont joined our heavenly Father on April 26, 2015, the birthday of her late son Robert. Helen was an exceptionally loving and adoring wife, mother and grandmother.She was born December 11, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. Helen's mother died when she was 14 years old. She was lovingly raised by her second mom, Rose Libby.Following high school she attended beauty school and became a Registered Beauty Culturist. Helen was also a ballroom dance instructor at the Trianon Ballroom in Chicago where she met the love of her life and her eternaldance partner, Robert H. Williams on December 17, 1953. They were married on June 18, 1955 in Oak Lawn, Illinois. They moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1973.She was also active with Bob in a career of real estate investing and remodeling. She was a member at First Evangelical Lutheran Church and an active participant in Bible Study Fellowship.She was passionate about her family and enjoyed oil painting. She devoted her life to the Lord and her family.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert H. Williams, son Robert L. Williams and brother John Frederick.Helen is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughters Melody Williams (Gaines Burns) and her children J , Patti, Tommy and Billy and Michelle Morrison (Randy) and their children Alex, Danielle and Julia; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Williams and her son Rob, one sister Elizabeth Dunnigan and one brother Ron Shelby.Memorial services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
