Gloria M. Martinez

Gloria was born in South Dakota on September 8th, 1943. Gloria and her family moved to New Mexico and then Fort Lupton, Colorado where she graduated High School.

Gloria married Cipriano Martinez on November 27th, 1965; they would have been married 57 years this November. Gloria worked a number of years in the food service industry along with child services but truly enjoyed being home managing the household duties. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and ATVs. What Gloria loved most was her family and friends, spending time in the mountains at Beaver Lake. Gloria and Cip were actively involved with the American Legion; helping out with caretaking duties for the Beaver Lake Community.

Gloria is survived by her son, Jeff Martinez (Tami), sister Pricilla Martinez, four grandchildren: Casandra Dieterlie (Marven), Tonja Becker, Kevin Wilson (Cheryl), Sean Wilson, and 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Cipriano Martinez, mother Mary Gutierrez , father Frank Gauna three brothers; Bill, Felix, Louis, grand daughter Breanna Rose Martinez and Grandson Jeffery Ray Martinez.

A Celebration of life will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501 on September 30th at 10:00 am.
