I was scrolling through videos on YouTube and there was Gary a walking encyclopedia of antique and vintage treasures knowledge. His calming, patient voice and knowledge sharing will be missed. I've watched his videos and many others on the Brass Armadillo YouTube channel for years. 🕊️

I have watched hundreds of hours of Gary's youtube videos.  He was such a knowledgeable man and I still put his videos on to relax at the end of a long day.  My favorite video is Gary going through  the antique mall to find an undervalued painting to buy.  He describes the pros and cons of each painting.  Just one example of things I have learned watching Gary.  No matter what was going on in my life, Gary's comforting talks made me feel better.  I will sincerely miss you Gary.

Gary was the grandfather I wish I had! He was always so kind, generous but honest. I can only imagine how much he must have been loved by his family. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us, Gary! You will be missed x

I've only just discovered that Gary Stover has passed.
I always enjoyed his informative videos on Youtube. Certainly one of the most knowledgable experts in the antiques business.
My condolences.

I only knew him from his YouTube videos. I’ve been a bit busy and just went on tonight to see if there were any new one. I saw that no new videos for a year.  So I googled and saw he passed away. I’m truly sorry. He was such a knowledgeable person.  My deepest sympathies, Patty from Pennsylvania 

I am so sorry for your loss. When I use to have anxiety I had a favorite video of Gary’s that I would watch. It was the one where he was in the snack shop at the Armadillo antique mall.  I would be on travel in a lonely hotel room and go on YouTube  and type in: “Gary Stover Pepsi.” Tonight I checked to see why there were no new videos .   When I read that it gripped my heart. He was a wonderful man!  God bless you dear family.  I will always keep watching old videos of this incredible kind man. 






 Very saddened to learn that Gary passed. We talked a few times over Facebook and I would’ve loved to have of met him. I truly enjoy his videos and have been thinking of him for quite some time. Every week I came back thinking that he would start filming again and purposely not checking if something was wrong. My deepest condolences to all his friends and family.

I have been watching and learning from his art collecting videos.  I thought he had great common sense and seemed like one of the most logical down to earth people in the business.  I am grateful for his generous teachings that have helped myself and others.  It's just a shame he won't be able to share his great knowledge with the masses anymore.    I hope he can continue on with his  expert knowledge in the next world.  I bet he can.

Truly saddened to hear of Gary's passing. His generous sharing of his knowledge and the informational videos have been invaluable to me and many antique collectors and dealers with me. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends.

So saddened to read about Gary’s passing. His videos, knowledge and thoughtful advice were invaluable to me when becoming an art dealer here in the UK. He was so generous with his teachings. Thoughts are with the family. God bless.
