Francis E. 'Chuck' Dolan

Francis E. Chuck Dolan, Jr., 74, passed away May 22, 2015 in Longmont. He was born December 23, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland to Francis E. and Anna Dolan.Chuck enlisted in the United States Navy, honorably serving from 1959 “ 1961. He was delighted his tour of duty was in the Caribbean where the crew was rewarded with sunshine and surf. Following his discharge Chuck worked for Montgomery Wards. During this time he became a clothes hog and always looked sharp. Chuck began his career in medical instrument manufacturing with Valleylab in New Jersey, then transferring to the Gunbarrel facility. After retiring from Valleylab, Chuck went to work for Special Transit, now Via Mobility Services, as a driver.On September 9, 2009 Chuck married his best friend and the love of his life, Denise Vosacek Ryan in the Rose Garden at Roosevelt Park, Longmont, CO.Chuck excelled in Equestrian competitions with his beloved horse Bruce. He was also an avid dog lover and had several loyal companions in his life. He had a passion for traveling and took trips to Paris, Ireland and the Panama Canal. He was preceded in death by his parents.Chuck is survived by his wife Denise of Longmont, sister Ann Conrad (Gary) of Elkridge, MD, step-son Chris Ryan (Brenda Rangel) of Evans, CO, a nephew Cory Conrad and two great-nephews all from MD.An Irish Wake and Celebration of Chuck's life will take place at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Left Hand Brewing Company.
