Ezra was born in Salida, Colorado where he resided until December of 2023 when his health required relocation to lower altitude. He graduated from Horizons Academy High School a year earlier than expected. He took a gap year to decide how to move forward in life and decided to pursue an education in Graphic design, but after a year at Pikes Peak Community College he figured out that traditional schooling was not his life's path. He came back to Salida and worked in the family Truss and construction business. He eventually pursued a career as an Officer at the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Ezra was a creative, passionate, loving person. His passions in life were skiing, drawing, skateboarding, gaming, hunting, fishing, travel, and spending time with his close family and friends. He traveled the world in pursuit of his passions and his most cherished places were hunting/skiing in Africa and Alaska with his Papa and Grandma. Visiting Oregon, California and Las Vegas with his Mom and that side of the family. Going to Hawaii and Mexico with his Dad and that side of the family. Always willing to try new things, he lived with fierce enthusiasm and without fear.
Ezra had many family and friends that he loved unconditionally, as well as his dogs Kimura and Olivia that brought him joy daily. He is survived by his mother Jenifer Berry, stepsister Kaylee Sanger, stepbrother Justin Sanger. His father Patrick Williams, Step (bonus) mother Jaclyn Williams, his sister Sophia Williams. Step(bonus) father Tom Berry. Grandparents: Jeff Denison (Papa), Pam Denison, Patti Williams, Dave and Nancy Sanger, Randy and Jenny Paulus. Aunts/uncles/cousins: Aunt Crystal (Trent) Wold and Benjamin, Uncle Jeremy Denison, Uncle Dan Sanger and Matt, Katie, Finn, Leo, Aunt Sheila Giberti and Nick , Brittany. Many more extended family were a part of his journey through this life. He is proceeded in death by his step(bonus)father Andy Sanger and his Grandfather Bill Williams.
Ezra had a wicked sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was a gentle soul, reserved until he knew you and then he would share his stories and happily listen to yours. He believed in keeping it real and was not a fan of small talk but required meaning in his conversations. He was a protector of all those close to him and would do just about anything for them. He will remain as love in all our hearts and will be missed by us forever.
Services will be held at Howe Mortuary in Longmont Colorado 439 Coffman St on Tuesday November 26, 2024, at 11:00 am.
