Estancia Ann Martinez, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Estancia Ann Martinez as many of us knew as Doodles, Dew or in her early years as pumpkin doodle. Was born on December 1st, 1981, on a bright snowy morning to Eugene and Dallas Martinez. Estancia was the baby of the 5 siblings. As a young girl Estancia was anything but a girly girl. As a youngster she was somewhat of a tomboy, always rough housing with her older brothers. Whether the boys would be playing in the dirt, wrestling, or lifting weights (as most boys do) Shirtless… There was little pumpkin doodle with her shirt off ready to show the boys who was boss!!
As Estancia grew into Doodles she remained her feisty little self. She filled her teenage years with homeschooling, working, and spending time with her family. Once Estancia and her parents settled in Colorado from New Mexico she decided it was time to have her own little family. In 2001 she gave birth to her 1st born, her son. A few years later as doodles became Dew she gave birth to beautiful Marisol in 2004. From then on it was the 3 of them against the world, but mom and Dad were always nearby. Not long after Estancia found her passion for traffic control.
As the years continued Estancia remained her spunky, loving self she enjoyed camping, music, getting tattoos, hiking with her pups Peanut and Boa and most of all spending time with all of her family. Whether it be just her and her kids, her mom and sisters preparing for a family gathering or spending time with her nieces and nephews. Estancia loved being surrounded by family and friends. She always brought the life to the party, and who could forget her laugh… her loud, contagious now beautiful laugh. Her laugh alone could get the room smiling…
Above all Estancias children, career and family were her greatest Passions of Life, she was always there to lend a hand or give a listening ear. Estancia made such an impact on so many lives with her bright personality & contagious smile. She will be missed Forever!
So as Estancias favorite saying would go: “Get the F*** outta here”
Estancia is survived by: Her son Christopher Martinez, Parents Eugene and Dallas Martinez, Grandfather William Burke, sisters Melissa and Brenda Martinez, Brothers Nicholas and Chris Burke (Janice Burke).Nino Ted Aragon, Aunts and uncles: Bebe & Albert, Juana & Gilbert, and Cecilia Lujan. Numerous nieces and nephews, 100’s of cousins and many many friends.
