Erma Jean Sutherland

Born December 9, 1934 in Nederland Co, To John D. and Hilda M. Morgan. Passed away September 26, 2018 in Longmont Co. Proceeded in death by parents John and Hilda, Brother Donald Earl Morgan, Sister Myrna Lee Morgan Simkins , Husband Vernon William Sutherland, Son Duane Sutherland, Survived by Sons Rex Allen Sutherland, David Lee Sutherland, Grand children Travis William Sutherland, Samantha Jo Sutherland, Joshua Daniel Sutherland, Cybil Andrea, Amy. 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 4 Nieces, 11 Nephews, 5 great Nieces, 2 great Nephews, 10 great great Nieces and Nephews.

Erma was a member and bartender for the American Legion in Firestone Colorado for a great many years. Erma was a diehard bronco fan and bled orange and blue. Any time there was a game on you could bet she was watching and yelling at “Her” Broncos to GO GO GO” and beat whoever the unlucky opponent was that week. Anyone who knew her knew that she was a spitfire and would tell you how it was no matter the situation, but she had a heart of gold and would do whatever she could to help out any of her family and friends in their time of need.

Erma was a mom, a sister, an aunt, a nana, and a wife, a best friend and will greatly be missed by the ones who cared for her the most.
