Edna E Ray (Pope)

Edna was born November 16, 1917 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of

Jacob Edward Pope and Phoebe Esther Mark. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1935. On February 15, 1936 she married Bennie Leo Ray in Ft. Collins, CO.

Edna worked for the Federal Government, Department of Commerce as a bookkeeper and administrative aid, retiring in 1977, for a time had worked for the Boulder Credit Bureau as a reporter. She was a member of the Tri-Town Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, her sister Evelyn Elvera Fail, and one granddaughter.

Survivors include her son Kenneth (Rebecca) Ray, Westminster, CO and her daughters Margaret Wilder and Madeline Suazo both of Pueblo, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Howe Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder, CO.
