Charles Chuck E. Hill

Charles E. Chuck Hill, 71, of Longmont passed away July 22, 2017. He was born March 31, 1946 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ellis Eugene and Charlabel (Sharp) Hill. The family moved to Longmont in the early 50's and Chuck started 1st grade at Central School. He graduated from Longmont High School class of 1964 and went to Northeast Junior College in Sterling, CO. Chuck served in the U.S. Army Reserve earning the rank of Staff Sgt.Chuck began delivering newspapers for the Times-Call when he was 10 years old. He was a parts man for McCaddon Olds-Cadillac for 10 years before going to IBM. While at IBM he was named employee of the year on two separate occasions. After IBM he worked for Twin Peaks Excavating, he then went to Walmart as a stocker where he retired in January 2016.Chuck belonged to two car clubs; ColoRODans of Longmont and the Road Knights of Loveland. Cars were a love of his since he got his first pedal car for Christmas when he was two and a half years old.He was preceded in death by his parents.Chuck is survived by his best friend and soul mate of 18 years Judy Morgan, two sons; Aaron Charles Hill of Fairplay, CO and Brian David Hill of Milliken, CO, his sister Eugenia Haynes and two grandchildren Danika and Jaxon Hill.Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. A get-together at Chuck's home will follow so everyone can share pizza and memories. Please bring a lawn chair. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
