Charisma "Chris" Jones

She was preceded in death by her husband Francis M. Jones on October 5, 2020. Her memorial service will be at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel 326 Terry St., Longmont, Colorado, On Jan 4th, 2023 at 1 pm. And then coffee and cookies at 2 pm ish at First Lutheran Church, just around the corner.

Chris was born in 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to parents Reverend Warren V.F. Churchill and Willetta B.E. Churchill. She graduated from Creston High School in 1955. She married Francis M. Jones on December 27, 1962 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Creston, Nebraska. She and Francis moved to Boulder in 1962, and then to Longmont in 1972.

Chris and Francis have three wonderful sons. Warren the oldest, Adam the middle child, and Frank E. the youngest. She has two sisters Kandi Drube and Roxi Bronstad. All her family will greatly miss her. Her 2 cats Flip and Zip, and dog Dash will miss her very much.

Chris worked as a church organist and pianist from age 11 to 65 years. As an organist she played for church services, and Cantatas from age 11 to 17 years of age and then at 17 she played Handel's Messiah. She then went on to the National Pi Mu Society from 1953-1955. She also worked at her own cleaning business, then worked at Neodata, and then worked as the Triangle Club Manager. Chris also worked and volunteered doing many other things.

Chris was over 40 years sober, a recovering alcoholic. She spent a lot of time at the Longmont Triangle Club going to many Alcoholics Anonymous "AA" meetings helping many people.

Chris enjoyed so many other things in her life. She enjoyed trips to the mountains and camping. She was an avid Bingo player, she would spend many a night at The Longmont Bingo Alley. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, at least 1 or 2 a morning, and Coloring books. Chris would go through as many as 6 big coloring books a month.

Chris will be greatly Missed by all of her Family and Friends.
