Catherine Ann Cathy"" Arias-Hill

Catherine Ann Arias-Hill, 48, of Longmont, died August 22, 2012. She was born February 25, 1964 in Kingston, New York, the daughter of Joseph M. and Patricia (Lenheart) Arias. The family moved to Longmont in 1966. She was a 1982 graduate of Longmont High School.

Cathy worked for the City of Longmont in the billing department for a short period of time. She spent many years in the medical field starting as a receptionist for Dr. Patrick Cavanaugh, and ending her career as office manager for Dr. Warren Valencia. Cathy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Cathy will be fondly remembered for leading enthusiastic and exhilarating aerobic classes at the Longmont YMCA. She prided herself on varied routines and her coordinated musical play list. She was always known for her sleek, sexy and hot cars. They were always immaculate with the sharpest paint job and always, always crisp and clean. Her pet dogs were a constant inspiration of play and friendship.

She is survived by her son Shaun Kenny of Denver and her brothers Patrick (Jackie) Arias and Danny (Robyn) Arias of Longmont and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and her brother Joseph Mariano Arias, Jr preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26 from 2-5 p.m. at the Howe Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at The Meeting Place, 17th Ave Event Center at 478 17th Ave. in Longmont.
