Carol L. Kent

Carol L. Kent, 87, passed away April 27, 2019. She was born August 23, 1931 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Einar Lindstrom and Gertrude Hogburg. Carol grew up in Roselle, New Jersey. In May of 1951, she married Robert Kent. Together, they moved from Clark, New Jersey to Colorado in 1990.Before retiring in 1989, Carol worked for Huffman-Koos furniture stores in New Jersey.Carol and Bob enjoyed traveling the U.S. Their favorite place to visit was the beach. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol enjoyed living in Colorado and having lunch and playing cards with her friends. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; brother, Allen Lindstrom; daughter, Nancy Fraade; grandson, Matthew Kent; and son-in-law, Eugene Dziadyk.She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dziadyk; son, James (Karen) Kent; grandchildren, Lauren Dziadyk, Brian Dziadyk, Elizabeth Kent-Sherger, Alex Fraade, and Zachary Fraade; and two great-grandchildren, Bayla and Adaleigh. A memorial reception will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1-4 PM at Callahan House, 312 Terry St., Longmont. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
