Carol Jean Hanlon

She died peacefully at home surrounded by family after losing a battle with cancer. Carol was born March 16, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother that we could have ever asked for, and she will be greatly missed. She had many loving friends and was a well-loved member of the community of Longmont, Colorado.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Willard and Olive Peterson, her sister Connie Meyers, and her brother Steven Peterson.

Carol is survived by her husband Joseph Hanlon. Her four children and their spouses Jeanne (Jay) Martinez, Thomas (Connie) Hanlon, Anthony (Theresa) Hanlon, and Elizabeth Hanlon. Her eleven grandchildren John (Elizabeth) Hanlon, Shelbi (Robert) Wallis, Amanda Hanlon, Paul (Angela) Moritz, Charles Hanlon, Courtney Martinez, Brian (Sabrina) Moritz, Marina (Taylor) Desch, Alec Martinez, Zachery Moritz, Antonia Hanlon. She is also survived by six great grandchildren Emory Hanlon, Blayke Wallis, Jackson Hanlon, Olivia Wallis, Paul and Greysen Moritz, and her brother William Peterson.
