Brian is survived by his mother, Ione Fromong, son, Corey Sailer and his wife Alyssa, daughter, Amy Atkinson and her husband Danny, and grandson Colton Sailer.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gay, step father, Tom Fromong, and step brother, Terry Fromong.
Brian was born in Burlington, Colorado on September 21, 1951 and was baptized in the Methodist church. He moved to Boulder in 1966 and graduated from Boulder High in 1969. He began to drive a truck right out of high school and entered the Army in 1971. After serving two years, mostly in Germany, he was honorably discharged and married Gay (Lemmon) Sailer in 1973. Together they enjoyed 36 years of marriage. During this time Brian was able to begin his dream of driving truck for himself, and has built a reputable company, Brian Sailer Trucking, in Hygiene, Colorado. He loved his business, but always made family a priority. Brian was proud to be able to be a part of every baseball and soccer game for his children.
Brian was known for his kind smile, willingness to help others, and his quick wit. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A viewing will be 5pm until 8pm on Friday, May 1st at Howe Mortuary. Services will be 10am, Saturday, May 2nd at LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont. A reception will follow at the church.
