Betty Jane Henni

Betty Jane Henni, of Loveland, passed away May 29, 2017 at Pathways Hospice Care Center in Loveland. She was 74.Betty was born on January 8, 1943, in Byers, CO, to Richard and AnnaMae (Boone) Milheim. At a young age, Betty's family moved to Crook, CO, where she attended high school in Sterling, CO. Betty went on to attend nursing school at Northeast Junior College in Sterling. She spent over 25 years working as a nurse.Betty met Darrell Henni, and in the early 1960's, the two moved to Denver to open a business and to start a family together.Betty was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell Henni; brother, Dale Milheim; and sister, Eleanor Betts.Betty is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Rod) Windholz, DeeDee (Billy) Johnson, Teri (Tom) Winden, and Sue (Tim) Thorell; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation will take place following the service.
