Mike and Brian and family, 
Jill and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Growing up in Southmoor Park and going to school together, I got to see your mom at school events. Working at LUH in the ICU and ED, I was privileged to work with your Mom for a few years. Always a smile on her face. She was our night supervisor for many years and ran a tight ship. Time slips away way to fast. Sending thoughts and prayers.

Brian and all... I'm so sorry about your mom's passing. I also knew Betty from our work days at LUH.  She was a hard working nurse who, on one hand, could stop you in your tracks with "that look". On the other hand, you knew she had your back. She  was an icon at LUH and I was honored to work with her.  She will be missed. T-wall

I met Betty when I started working at the Longmont Hosiptal in the 1980's. Betty was our evening supervisor.
Upon retiring in 1997 a group of 7 retired nurses formed a monthly quilt group.
Our interest in quilting brought us together and we became good friends.
We spent many hours,over the years,around the table visiting and sharing a meal together.
Betty was the person we could count on to ask advise in any aspect of quilting.
She had a great talent in all of her crafts.

I am glad our paths crossed.

I was fortunate enough to work with Betty for many years at Longmont United Hospital.  She was kind, competent and brave in the face of overt and covert bigotry.   She taught me a lot and she will be missed.  Sincerely submitted by Brenda Peterson-Pieper(Sadler)

I loved my cousin Betty! We met while I was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, in the late 80s. Our relationship continued throughout the years. We called regularly, laughed and talked about everything under the sun. My only regret is that we never got to make a quilt together. She was a blessing to our entire family. My condolences to her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family.
