Betty was born on November 24, 1936 in Chadron, NE to Kenneth and Clara (Lecher) Kindred. She attended school in Chadron, NE. She moved to Colorado in 1961.
Betty played fast pitch softball and was a very good pitcher when she was younger. She loved the hills of Nebraska and the mountains of Colorado. She cherished her moments cane pole fishing with her grandmother Kindred. Betty loved being around horses as her dad had been involved with the Kentucky Derby.
Betty married Don Conyac on February 10, 1962, and together, they would raise four children. He was the love of her life and as she would always say, “he is my adventure.” Betty and Don made their home in Longmont for the past 50 years. Betty worked for various electronic manufacturing companies such as StorageTec, Valley Lab and Styaodynamics. After retirements, she and Don became snowbirds, taking their RV to Texas and Arizona for the winter.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Conyac, Sr. of 61 years, 15 days prior to her death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth (Bud) Kindred; sister, Lila Herr Young, and great grandson, Henry Fehr. She is survived by three daughters Cheryl (Greg) Fehr, Joan (Butch) Middleton, Patty Conyac; one son Don (Jennifer) Conyac, Jr.; eight grandchildren Aaron Fehr, Adam Fehr, Jeremy Davis, Jennifer Camp, Stephanie Enholm, Donny Conyac III, Bobby Bussell and Brittany Bellinghausen; eight great grandchildren; sister, Kay Tyree.
