On February 7th 2023, Betsy Byrne, surrounded by her husband and two children passed away.
A keen mind and passionate learner, she attended the CSU School of Veterinary Medicine. While there she met the love of her life, Michael Cousins, and graduated in 1982.
She practiced as a veterinarian for 15 years before discovering her love for working with children and horses at Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center in retirement.
She is survived by her husband, her two children, Jake and Emily, their respective partners Jessie and Tyler, and by her three sisters Nancy, Joan, and Barb.
