Barbara Dee Green

Barbara was born on August 11, 1934 in Blue Springs, MO to Robert Bumpas and Martha (Nelson) Bumpas. She married Donald “Donnie” Green on September 17, 1953 in Longmont, CO and together, the couple brought two beautiful children into the world. Donnie passed away in 2013.

Barbara moved to Longmont as a young girl. She was self-employed as a beautician. Barbara attended the First Baptist Church in Longmont. She enjoyed bowling, camping, and boating with her family. Barbara would often crochet beautiful Afghans for others. She loved spending quality time with her family; but most of all, she loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sisters, Donna Harmon and Dorothy Edmission. She is survived by her children Michael Green (Julie) and Cindy Oldemeyer; her grandchildren Seth Green, Trey Green, TJ Oldemeyer, and Jamie Oldemeyer; her great-granddaughters Kaylee and Addyson; and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Family Graveside service will be held in her honor and she will be laid to rest next to Donnie at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
