Anthony W. Sears

Anthony (Tony) W. Sears went home to the Lord on December 16, 2018. Tony was born on January 15, 1938 in Plymouth, MA to Frank & Lena (Lenzi) Sears.Tony, a Korean War Veteran, served in the US Air Force from 1955-1958. He worked for Pan American World Airways in Miami for 23 years. After Pan Am's closing he worked for Lockheed in CA and Ryidah Saudi Arabia. During his retirement he worked at Boulder County Housing. Tony was a member of American Legion Post 1985 and the Longmont Elks Club. Tony most enjoyed being surrounded by family, traveling, watching the Broncos, Dolphins and U of M football games and being in the pits at the Colorado National Speedway helping his son, Rob, with his race car.He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Deana Pinto. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cheryl; sons Wayne Andrighetti (Laurie) of CT, Brian Sears (Paula) of Seattle, Robert Sears of Firestone, and Craig Sears (Terri) of Ph nix; daughter Tammy Gagnon (Bob) of FL; grandchildren Danielle Richardson of CT, Gregory Ashner of FL, Dakota Sears of FT Collins, and James Sears of Longmont; sisters Maryann Govoni and Geraldine Edwards of MA; brothers Francis Sears of CT and Dean Sears of MA along with his loving mother-in-law, Frances Green of Longmont.Tony was a member of St. Brigit Episcopal Church in Frederick where memorial services will be held on January 19th at 11AM, followed by a reception at the Firestone American Legion Hall.
