Andrew Dier

Andrew was born October 31, 1943 in Longmont, Colorado, the son of Andrew Nathan and Theresa Wyenema (James) Dier. On February 4, 1962 he married Donna Silbaugh in Longmont, Colorado.

Mr. Dier spent his working years in the field of Swine Reproduction, retiring in 1994.

Survivors include his wife Donna of Longmont, his daughters Andrea (John) Bennett of Torrington, WY, Patricia Dier of Platteville, CO and Penny (Kenneth) McClain of Splendora, TX; five grandchildren Christopher Sardelli, Ashley Laidlaw, Travis Turner, Haylie McClain and Cole McClain and one great granddaughter Chelsea Sardelli. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Colleen Knox and Marion Lindleaf.

Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2011 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel with David Bradshaw officiating.
