Ana Maria Montes

Ana Maria Marianna Montes passed away March 10, 2020. She was 69 years old.Marianna was born on November 17, 1950 in El tule, Chihuahua, Mexico to Delfino Rodriguez and Maria Chaparro. She grew up in Mexico with her 13 siblings.On May 23, 1977 she married Luis Montes in El tule, Chihuahua, together they moved to Lyons, CO in 1998 and to Longmont in 2003. Marianna was a homemaker and took great care of her three children and raised six grandchildren.She was a devout Catholic. Marianna enjoyed going to the casinos, watching soap operas and was skilled at baking and cooking.She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.Marianna is survived by her husband Luis; her children Aracely (Gonzalo) Avila, Laura Montes and Luis N l Montes; her grandchildren Jesus, Luis Alberto, Alan Paul, Marianna, Abraham and Valarie; one great grandchild on the way; five siblings and her best friend Manuel Alcaraz.A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm with rosary prayers beginning at 6:00pm all on Monday March 16, 2020 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00am Tuesday March 17, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. If sending flowers please send roses since they were Marianna's favorite flower.
