Adam studied the culinary and welding trades at Trapper Creek Job Corps and attended Webster Garfield High School in Butte, Montana. He was a lifelong martial artist, and his favorite sports were Taekwondo and Dragon Kung Fu. He enjoyed music and played the guitar and sang. Over the years he played the cello, drums, bass guitar and violin (these were stepping stones to what he liked best, the guitar). Adam was an artist at heart. He loved to paint and write poetry and felt the latter was his niche. Adam loved animals, any and all. He loved to cook and was gifted at it. Adam was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Adam was preceded in death by an infant brother, Corey Daniel Martinez and his beloved father Rudy Emilio Martinez.
Adam is survived by his mother Kimberly Kay Martinez-Schoenfelder, grandmother, Shirley Thompson of Helena, MT, grandfather, Ralph Martinez of Laramie, WY, brother Andre Martinez and sister Hilary Martinez of Sacramento, CA. He is further survived by his aunts Teri Romero of Longmont, CO and Renee Bonanini of Helena, MT and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends Sharon Culp and her family.
A Celebration of Adam’s life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Messiahville Baptist Church, 1146 Kimbark St. Longmont, CO. 80501 – officiated by Pastor Corey Seulean and Adam’s cousin, Assistant Pastor Eric Romero.
