On the morning of February 21, 2019, Victoria Ocana, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord. Victoria was born in Monte Vista, Colorado to Julian and Frances Ocana in 1939. She graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1947 and later moved to Denver to attend school before settling in California.
Victoria had a passion for dancing, music and also loved to travel and dine on great food and desserts. Vickie loved playing bingo especially when accompanied by her family. Her love for God and people made her someone that people would tell their life stories to. She was a great listener and instilled the importance of not passing judgement on people as everyone is a child of God. Vickie was known for her smile, love of humor, and her kind and compassionate spirit.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Frances, her brothers, Fred, Armando, Floyd, Max and Julian. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Ramos and her son-in-law, Lino Ramos, her daughter Stephanie Arvai and her partner, Daphne Meza. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael, Emilio and Natalie, as well as well as her great grandchild, Joseph. She loved her family more than anything and will be so greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, to be determined.
