Teresa Zuelke

Our beloved mother Teresa Zuelke (Moran) passed away peacefully on February 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She may have worn out her body, but not her spirit. Born May 20, 1925 in Scotland. For 55 years she called Lakewood her home after she immigrated from Scotland in 1955 and soon married our father, Ronald E. Zuelke. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Richard Moran; sisters, Josephine McCabe, Veronica Moran and Margaret Nickodem. She is survived by her siblings, Gerald, Moya, Patricia and Anne; children, Patricia (Krynen), Richard and Michael Zuelke; as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A devout Catholic and wonderful mother, she never learned to drive and enjoyed attending Mass with her sons at St. Cyprians and St. Pancratius Church. She reflected Christ's love in everything she did. A brief rosary will be followed by a funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Lakewood, CA.
