Luis Perez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Carlos Perez. On May 6, 2020 at the age of 59 Luis left this world and began his new adventure. He was born on May 12, 1960 in Santa Monica, California to Carlos and Rachel Perez. On September 13, 2009 he married his loving wife Magaly. A caring and compassionate father of 3, Luis truly loved life and lived it to the fullest, enjoying simple pleasures, spending time with family, and traveling to new places. He was known by most for his witty humor and infectious laugh. He is survived by his father Carlos; his wife Magaly; his children Louie Jr., Nicole, and Crystal; his brothers and sisters Manuel, Robert, Rosa, and Josefina; grandchildren Donovan and Kloie; nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Luis touched are invited to the Stricklin/Snively Funeral Home, 1952 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday May 17th to reminisce, grieve, and help us celebrate the wonderful life that we lost and will keep in our hearts forever. Due to the current circumstances visitation will be allowed from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and only up to 10 at a time.
