Lowell Walter Rogers MD

Lowell Walter Rogers, age 67, passed away at home on Wednesday April 17, 2013, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla Rogers, and loving father to Rebecca Rogers Kao, Suzanne Rogers Williams, William Rogers, and Joanna Rogers.

Lowell grew up in Arizona, then moved to Chicago in high school where he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Priscilla Montgomery. He attended the University of Arizona and then Johns Hopkins Medical School where he graduated in 1971 and became a surgical pathologist. For the last 24 years he served on the staff of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

Lowell is also survived by eight grandchildren who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 27 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1140 Ximeno Ave., Long Beach, California, 90803.
