At an early age, Lora received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She became a member of her grandfather's church Richland Missionary Baptist church in Los Angeles, Ca. where Rev. Willson Ford was the pastor. Lora was educated in Los Angeles, Ca. She graduated from Manual Arts High School in 1972.
Lora had a gift of singing, she loved to sing when she was younger. She had a joyful spirit, loved to laugh and make others laugh. She had a good heart, she was always trying to help others and give what she really didn’t have to give.
She furthered her education as a nurse and she continued her love for helping others. Lora was also a prominent activist in the community.
God called Lora home on November 4, 2022. She truly will be missed.
Lora was preceded in death by her mother Ella Ree Ford and Father Willis Ford. Her three brothers Lee, Howard and Clarence Ford. And her two sons Frederick Wilburn and Michael Haley
Lora leaves to cherish her memory, her three children James, Richard and Lorrian. Two sisters Lula and Louise, one brother Bobby Ford. Two daughter-in-laws Nicole and Tyeisha, 14 grandkids as well as a host of nieces, nephews, God children and other relatives.
