Grandpa,
I am the luckiest person in the world to have had you as my grandfather.  You always put a smile on my face just by your mere presence.  Your jokes were legendary and I always admired how you made everyone feel good.  I will always cherish our time together and will never forget the times I used to sneak out of work to play golf with you.  I love you more than words express.            Dear Rocky, Tawnie and Hayley are the wonderful young women that they are today, in part because of their wonderful grandparents - Grandpa Rocky and Grandma Christi.  Rocky, you were never too busy to give them your undivided, loving attention - whether it was walking them around the restaurant when they got antsy, taking them for rides in their little wagon, going to Tawnie's dance recitals, and Hayley's cheer competitions.  You were the most wonderful, loving, devoted grandpa to them and dad to me.  I will always be grateful for the love you showered on all of us.  I love you, Marti

Uncle Rocky, you always kept us laughing, with your amazing sense of humor... Your gentle, kind way of showing us just how much we all meant to you will be missed. Rest in peace uncle Rock and try not to make all the other Angels fall off of the clouds while they laugh at your jokes....

Grandpa, It is difficult to explain to people the amount of loss we have experienced this past month.  These were not some distant relative or an old friend but a mom and then a grandpa. People that have been part of our lives, that have influenced us, changed
 us, seen us through our best and our worst. People we depend on and count on, people's advice that we seek and guidance that we still need.  We are broken in so many ways, to say we are grieving is an understatement. What I wouldn't give to hear one more joke. I know you know how much your black eyed beauty loves you, I know you hear me when I talk to you, I know you are here beside us still shining your light trying to guide us through this. Knowing this doesn't make losing you any easier. You were an amazing grandpa, my one true only grandpa. You always made me feel special! I love you xoxoxo,your black eyed beauty

I enjoyed working with Rocky at Hughes.  I remember his cigar that was chewed rather than smoked.

Rocky, I know you through my brother Wayne and my sister-in-law Chris.  I have never met you in person.  Through the years Wayne and Chris have shared with me how wonderful you are.  Your kind heart and of course your sense of humor.  I live in Minnesota and you in California and yet by their description of you and the way they shine when talking about you makes me feel your warmth and your love.  My sister Mary and her Husband Larry met you and they too came back to Minnesota describing you in the same way that Wayne and Chris did.  All I ever heard was "You got to meet Rocky"!

I am only guessing that the lives you touched in your short life are into the millions!  Thank you for sharing your love and kindness with my brother Wayne and accepting him into your family as your son.  Thank you for sharing with him what a dad is all about.  Thank you for being such a great Dad to Chris. Thank you for loving so many near and far.

May your memories live on in the many "Rocky" stories.
