Julie Catherine Carter

Julie passed away Friday, July 2, 2010, surrounded by her family. Born in Ohio in 1940 her parents brought her to Long Beach at age 5 where she lived the rest of her life. Married to Charles Carter in 1962, they remained married for 48 years and lived in the same home for the last 41 years. All were welcome in her Long Beach home where she received constant visitors. In addition to raising 4 sons and 1 daughter, Julie provided daycare from her home from 1968 to 2005 where she helped raise multiple generations of Long Beach families. The most important thing in Julie's life was people. Being with her was a privilege and she will be missed by all. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 3955 Orange Ave., Long Beach, CA 90807.
