Its been three years since you passed over to a better place with popa. I miss you more than ever now because of the little one on the way but with the thought of you and popa watching over helps me get thru my days. Everyday I look at you two for inspiration and everyday I try to better myself in hopes of making you proud. I love and miss you guys very much and although I hope its no time soon, I cant wait for the day we can all be together again. You and popa will always be remembered and missed.

This past Monday we celebrated Donna with a BBQ and releasing balloons into the sky. Donna will forever be loved and never forgotten.

Gma it's been three years. Words can't even begin to describe how difficult this journey with out you has been. Every step has been challenging . Learning how to grow without you in my physical presence has been torturous. My ears miss your soothing, funny, intense, passionate words. I miss walking into the house and seeing your beautiful face and getting away from the world. The loss of you was a tragedy to not only me but to this family. I cherish our memories. Never forgotten and always remembered. I love you, I'll be seeing you.

My beautiful sister, I am so sorry that I didn't honor your birthday very well but I know you understand because I had back surgery on the 24th and you were there with me holding my hand and giving me strength and love as you have all my life. I wish I could see you and give you hugs and kisses just one more time but I know that only happens in my dreams. Thinking of you, always keeping you in my heart, thank you more than words can say.

Hi Donna, just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you.  Every time we pass down Bloomfield the boys say "Hi Donna".  This morning Jai added that he missed you in Heaven and hoped that you would not die again.  I explained to him that you will live forever in Heaven and that you are watching over us all.  I'm potty training Jax and I'm training him to sit on the toilet backwards....the same way you trained kids.  He is at the "terrible 2" stage and last weekend he was acting up.  I yelled out that he would not act like that with you. I had forgotten that you weren't on Bloomfield.  I've passed by the house a few times and that feeling of love is gone, it left w/you.  But I know that you are spreading love and good manners to the kids in Heaven.  I do understand that they need you more than we do here on earth.  Funny, I bought some of your items at the estate sale and I can fit them.  Tell Jim I said hello and take care.  I love and miss you something terrible.

We would have gone out to dinner tonight and laughed and would have had a good time. Instead I sit and think about you, and wish I had you for just one more minute. Sherry and Lynn, I came across your mom's obituary after we had been talking about her this weekend.  Please know that your mom left a lasting legacy in our family.  She had such a positive impact on our lives.  I still tell everyone that she was the best day care provider I could have ever hoped for, and I am so grateful for all the times she went above and beyond.  I know she loved all her kids with everything she had.

Donna Raney started as my daycare provider 6 yrs ago then became my friend.  She provided a loving, safe home for my kids (Jayla, Justin, Jai & Jaxson). There is not a daycare rate that would compensate this woman for what she gave.....she's taught me a few life lessons and taught the kids to be respectful and clean up after themselves.  Donna did not pull any punches and her honesty was appreciated.  She went above & beyond at times picking up JJ from school, feeding the kids dinner after hours, watching them before & after hours, dropping them off at home.  She even offered to have them come in pj's & she would get them dressed :).  Up until the end she was my savior and I THANK GOD for our time w/her.  My heart is broken but I feel good that she is in Heaven w/Jim taking care of her.

I can not believe the strong wise woman left us so fast. behind this strong and powerful personality you find a sweet supportive loving woman ,who did care for every person arround her , this is Donna .I will misse you so much I will misse her asking me "Marina today you don t sound good are you o.k.?and we start to talk sharing with me her experiences in life. I love you Donna you will always be in my heart

Even though I didn't know you,  I feel as if I have. I'm glad that you are out of pain, even though you are no longer here, you left me a wonderful gift Sherri. And I will always thank you for that.

Donna has been a part of mine and my family's lives for over 33 years. She deffinately left a footprint in the hearts of many. "Thank You Much" God for putting Donna in our lives and hearts. Donna, such an amazing woman, you will live forever in our hearts.

Donna was a 2nd Mom to myself and my sisters, Growing up in the Raney Daycare, I was there from 3 weeks old to 14 and was so lucky to have a safe fun place to spend my childhood... so many fond memories of the Raney Family, SO Thankful for the life lessons I learned from Donna. Such an amazing person, Heaven definetly has another ANGEL <3

As we stand on the shore and say goodbye to our loved one, it is hard to remember in our time of grief and sense of loss that on the other side of the water there are those standing on the shore who have gone before Donna saying "she is coming she is coming." There are no words to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Although we only met Donna one time, we knew immediately she was such a loving person.
