Dolores "Dee" Montoya

Dolores (Dee) Montoya, 71 of Carson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones Saturday February 13th, 2016. She was proceeded in death by her Mother, Angelina Portillo and Brother, Narsiso Portillo JR. Dee is survived by her, Life Partner Rachel Castillo, Daughter Lisa Montoya, Granddaughter, Angelina Pinedo, Father Narsiso Portillo, Sister, Sylvia Burris, and Nephew Troy Portillo. She was born in Lynwood, CA and lived all her life in the South Bay area. She was a graduate of Gardena High School then went on to become an Engineering Manager, employed by Pacific Bell for 30 years, retiring at the young age of 52. Dee loved to shop and enjoyed being with her Extended Family and Friends. Her favorite past times were going on Family Camping trips, road trips to Football and Basketball games, hosting parties, anything that involved getting together with those she dearly loved especially being around all the little ones in the family, always made her happy. Dee was the Heart of her family, and will be truly missed by all that loved her.
