He was born in Caterham-on-Hill, Surrey, England on February 4th, 1939.
Bill had a long career as a Mechanical Engineer, mostly within the Aerospace industry, working for Boeing/McDonnell Douglas, Marconi Space & Defense, British Aerospace, McLaren Racing and Vickers-Armstrongs (where he completed his apprenticeship).
He had a passion for all things Land Rover, his dog Brett and a collection of birds and fish. He loved to tinker around on his cars and help others fix theirs. As an engineer, he could find a solution to most problems. He also enjoyed collecting antique rifles, Range Rovers and car parts.
He is survived by Junaidah, his four children Adrian, Dawn, Nicola & Erica and his four grandchildren Alex, Charlotte, Oisín & Séimí.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11am, Saturday November 24th, 2018, at Stricklin/Snively Mortuary, 1952 Long Beach Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90806.
