Peter Garnet Hogg

Peter passed away peacefully on October 14, 2016 at the LHSC Palliative Care Unit after a brief struggle with cancer. Beloved brother of Shirley Riggs (Brian), Eva Douglas and Barbara Jennings (Peter). Proud uncle to Jessica Riggs (Chris Beach), Alex Douglas, and David and Benjamin Jennings. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Joan, and sister Linda. Peter was a gentle soul who shared everything he had, and appreciated every kind gesture shown him. He enjoyed simple pleasures such as a trip to Port Stanley or a picnic at the Pinery. Special thanks to Sarah and Mark at Dutsch Residential Home for their compassionate care. A private family service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 to celebrate Peter’s life. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation may consider the Canadian Cancer Society.
