Peggy Baker

She was in her 92nd year. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Reg in 1981 and her sisters Evelyn Hookings and Irene Belcher.

Peggy is survived by her sister Beryl (Frank) Poulton and her brother Len (Pat) Rainbow and many nieces and nephews, all in the U.K.

Peggy immigrated to Canada in the early 1950’s. She quickly Made Friends with June Rice, as they were both from the U.K.

As the years came to pass, Peggy adopted the Rice family as her own Canadian family and was an “auntie” to many of their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at 3pm at The Church of St. Jude at 1537 Adelaide Street North, London, ON N5X 1K6.
