Dear Scott and Sylvia,
Oh how she loved you Scott. She would share with me the wonderful son she had and when Mary found out that she had cancer she would call me and say"Oh Mona, Scott and Sylvia are so wonderful. Sylvia gives me a nice massage. She also loved your twins and enjoyed looking after them for a while.
Mary and I laughed a lot. We also had many good sharing times and we even cried together. I will miss our friendship but now she can sing her heart out in heaven. She had such a beautiful voice and loved a good time.

Mary, what to say!  Her laughter, the smiles and giggles we had about life, love and families are special times I will always remember.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

I met Mary at Parkwood and I only knew her for a few months but the memory of her smile and our conversations will always be with me.  She loved life and loved her family.  I felt I knew her family before I ever met them.  She is at peace now.  I will miss her.

Dear Scott 
I was sorry to hear of your loss.  Your mom was a great lady and I count it a privilege to have known her.  I will not be able to join you for the memorial as I will be out of the country.  Be assured of my prayers both this morning and continuing for you and your family.

Mary has been on my mind these last couple of weeks and I have been wondering whether she was here on earth or in heaven. I will remember the big hugs, the cheery attitude, and her innovation.  She found ways to  do things that amazed me.  She reminded me of my own grandmother who was very near and dear to me. Mary will be  fondly remembered.

Mary, My Mother-in-law, The darn best cook!  The only thing I never really cared for and never ever ate again was...Steak and Kidney Pie.  The thing is, I like liver so I thought the kidney wouldn't be so bad, well my first bite was actually really good. I even moaned out loud "Ummm"(that was the steak part).  I took the second bite and thought to expect even better but nope, I thought I would puke, (that was the kidney part). If you know me well, you know I can't lie and well...Mary knew I didn't care for her Steak and Kidney Pie. Mary's Roast Beef dinner was my favourite and  the first time I ever had Yorkshire Pudding.  If you never had that,  google it, buy the package at the store or already made pudding in the frozen food section.  You have really never lived until you try Yorkshire Pudding with Roast Beef.
Every time I open my dresser drawer, I will remember almost every piece of lingerie(that I never wear anymore, much to Scott's chagrin) is because of Mary.  All the parties she had selling lingerie or Tops and Trends when we were young bring back memories of old friends and fun times.
Mary was a hugger and taught me to give more affectionately which I wasn't really used to.  
I'll remember our good times and how beautiful we all can be at our best moments.

That infectious smile will never be forgotten.  A kind gentle caring soul has left us but all your memories will get you through this difficult time.  My dad always appreciated all the help that Mary provided when working together at Imperial Life.  When I joined the business in 1982 I understood all the praises that he had given her over the years.  Dad and my thoughts are with you all.
