Judith Melodie Seeley

The family announces with sadness the passing of Judy on November 16, 2025 at Queensway Nursing Home at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of Bert Seeley. Loving mother of Michael, Paul (Rachel) and David (Sian). Grandma to Arden, Tesa, Jordan and Granny to Logan and Connah.

Dear sister to Jean (late Jim), Jennifer (Bob), Predeceased by Jo-Anne.

She will be missed by treasured nieces and nephews.

Born in London, Ontario on March 10, 1941, the daughter of the late Charles Sintzel and Doris (nee. Lawson). Step father Henry Wilde, deceased. Judy’s love was music. Movement to music and dance. Judy studied ballet and had bronze, silver and gold in International Ballroom. She taught Social Ballroom for 10 years at Fanshawe College Continuing Education and and Heritage and line dancing for 8 years making many long-time friends along the way, Judy also did voluntary dance classes at schools, churches and other centres.

An animal lover, Judy and Bert rescued a total of 16 abandoned or dropped off cats and gave much love to their kittens. Judy loves all the animals on Merridale Farm, where she grew up. Gardening, hand crafts and books were also her passions.

Visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St) on Monday November 25, 2024 from 2-4 pm and where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 26 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. A special thank you to the many PSW’s from St. Elizabeth, Closing the Gap and VON as well as the entire staff at Queensway Nursing Home.
