His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.
Jamie was born on December 17, 1972 to James and Barbara Doucette.
Jamie attended Arthur Stringer Public School and Sir Wilfred Laurier Secondary School where he made many fond memories.
Jamie began his lifelong career at Nestle Canada and became great friends with so many and had a few work moms too.
In 2002 Jamie and Lynda got married and started their family with Austin in 2006, and Dylan in 2008. The boys were his whole world.
Jamie was an avid Habs fan, and passed his love of hockey onto the boys, spending countless hours at the rink with them, on the bench and making great friendships with coaches, parents and kids.
He also loved watching football, Nascar, fishing (maybe catching a few) playing cards, hanging with his "buddies", listening to heavy metal music while reminiscing about his mullet.
Jamie always talked about his co-workers and "buddies" like they were family. He deeply loved his family and all of his relatives. Although he liked to act like a grumpy old man, he had a big soft heart.
Jamie will be at peace resting with his mom Barb.
He will be sadly missed more than words can say by his boys Austin & Dylan, Lynda, his dad Jim "Duckit Sr." Sisters Kim & Cindy.
As well as all of his in-laws, Paul & Marybeth Haywood, Vic Oliveira (Cindy), Louis Melo (Kim), Jonathan & Lori Haywood, Tim & Cindy Haywood, Rob & Mel Haywood, Jason & Tasha Haywood.
His Neices and Nephews who he was so proud to be an Uncle to: Darryl (wife Meagan), Amanda ( spouse Cory), Josh, Jourdan, Jamie-Lynn, Mackenzie, Dalton, Morgan, Alyssa, Cole as well as Great Nieces and Nephews: Brooklyn, Ryelyn, Rowen, Cruz, Nolan, Madison, Kayden.
Jamie also had special ties with Uncle Brian, Aunt Dee Dee, Aunt Roma, Aunt Sue & all of their families as well as the many friends of his parents who were considered family too.
A memorial visitation for Jamie will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
